And while I haven't seen anything exactly like it, I do wish it was a little more stylized. Comparing it to another cat manga, Plum Crazy, I think that Plum Crazy's shojo-esque style works great for it because the cats still look unique, and I like the artstyle more. I originally got this manga for my little sister and before long I started reading it myself.

Contrary to the serialized version, which is black and white, the tankōbon version is in full color. The manga is still ongoing as of April 2009, with an upcoming 7th volume to be released in the Spring of 2010. Ann the kitten has grey fur exactly like Chi in the manga, in the CGI series, she has much lighter grey or lilac fur. She is also a blotched tabby, like her mother as opposed to her 'mackerel' tabby siblings. This is probably to make it easier to tell her and Chi apart. The anime is produced by Madhouse, and each episode is three minutes long.

I could go on and on about how cute Chi's Sweet Home is, but I've already used the words "cute" and "adorable" more times than I can count. I give CSH a 10/10 on enjoyment because I know I'm always smiling like an idiot while reading Chi's adorable adventures. It's a pretty calm read, and goes by fairly quickly despite the chapter count, and I highly recommend it to cat owners and cat fans. I remember when I was 7, my mom took me to a library and I found this 'comic' about a cat. (I didn't know what manga was lol) I adore cats, so I fell in love immediately.

However, the apartment complex in which the family lives doesn't allow pets, so a lot of time is spent preventing the landlady and the other tenants from seeing Chi. Later, the Yamadas move into a new house, and Chi has to adjust once again to her new surroundings. Chi's Sweet Home has many characters, but most of them don't really matter except for Chi. Cocchi is the closest thing to an important character in my opinion, but maybe I'm just biased because I really liked him. Blackie was also a great character, and I loved how he was a mentor-type figure to Chi, keeping her out of trouble to the best of his abilities. Yohei is very childish, which is fair, given that he is a child, and sometimes gets mad at Chi, but it's always heartwarming to see them make up.

The way she talks in the English translation with baby talk is really endearing, and her mannerisms as well. The little sounds she makes like "Mrr?" or "Mee!" are very cute as well, and while she is a mostly static character, I don't mind because of how adorable all of her interactions are. With black stripes wanders away from her mother and siblings one day while enjoying a walk outside with her family.

How will the #1 Hero bounce back when his past is on full display? The situation takes a turn for the worse when Hyun realizes that he himself is slowly turning into a monster, while a mysterious voice in his head grows louder and louder. After retiring from a career in the insurance industry, he was a proud grandparent, spending his time cheering his grandchildren from the sidelines and in other activities. He was an avid reader, and he loved going to his favorite vacation spot, Sea Isle City, NJ. His family will remember him jumping the waves or pulling the grandkids in a raft. He never wavered in his passion and support for his favorite teams - the Philadelphia Eagles and Villanova basketball. In all of our lives, there are moments that take our breath away.
